IAACC Pablo Serrano
The Instituto Aragonés de Arte y Cultura Contemporáneos Pablo Serrano - IAACC Having extended and renovated its installations, the Instituto Aragonés de Arte y Cultura Contemporáneos Pablo Serrano re-opens its doors to become a benchmark for contemporary culture not just in Aragon but on a national and international level, while at the same time deepening its knowledge on the Aragonese sculptor from whom it gets its name.
The IAACC Pablo Serrano has set itself three lines of work: firstly, accommodating contemporary art and culture in Aragon with monographic and themed exhibitions which, duly contextualised, will enable knowledge and dissemination of the centre art collections to be deepened. Secondly, presenting national and international projects, focussing especially on sculpture. And lastly, initiating observatories to raise contemporary issues from the most diverse disciplines.
The extension to the building was designed by the architect José Manuel Pérez Latorre and has a ground floor plus four vertical floors and a flat roof which has been adapted for carrying out various activities.
